Employee Assistance Program
Baptist Hospital Northeast offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to provide confidential help to employees dealing with personal problems such as:
- Family conflicts;
- Marital conflicts;
- Relationship issues;
- Anger management;
- Depression;
- Anxiety;
- Grief & loss; and
- Chemical abuse and dependency
At Baptist Northeast, we recognize that each employee is a valued asset. Problems and stress are a natural part of life and can affect your performance at work. Personal problems can lead to absenteeism, accidents, low productivity, high turnover, high insurance costs, poor morale and much more. The EAP is designed to help both the employee and the hospital by providing short-term help for minor or crisis situations. It is not a substitute for long-term psychiatric care or counseling. People who need long-term care are referred to a suitable agency, doctor or counselor.
Baptist Hospital Northeast's Employee Assistance Program is provided by the Center for Behavioral Health® at Baptist Hospital East.
Eligibility
All employees and their dependents are eligible for services. Up to four sessions are available free of charge. Many problems affect the entire household and those problems may spill over to the workplace as well.

To schedule an appointment, the employee or family member simply calls the 24-hour Intake Services line at (502) 222-3330. EAP sessions are available at two convenient locations:
