Courtyard renovation benefits patients and employees

The Hospital Week picnic on Thursday, May 10 was the perfect opportunity for Baptist Health La Grange to dedicate its courtyard, newly renovated with $13,000 donated by the Baptist Hospital Foundation. Baptist Health La Grange Engineering employee Roger O’Nan helped stretch the funds further by doing all the work himself, including concrete and landscaping. The renovation also included the addition of a doorway from the Rehab & Skilled Care Unit to make it more convenient for patients to use the courtyard. From left, Bonnie Brewer, Janet Grantz, Jennifer Roth and Donna Long were a few of the employees who enjoyed the renovated outdoor area during the picnic.
