Derby fashion show March 29 to benefit American Heart Walk



Baptist Health La Grange will host a Derby fashion show from noon-1 p.m. Thursday, MarchTwo of the Derby hats you could win at Baptist Hospital Northeast 29 in the main lobby atrium. Derby hats and fascinators created and/or donated by Baptist Health La Grange employees, volunteers and friends will be modeled along with fashions and accessories provided by Clodhoppers, Children's Place at The Summit, Dressbarn at Springhurst and Just Jewelry (Marji Pilato, sales distributor). PJ's School of Cosmetology will help out with hair and makeup.

The hats and fascinators, the two children's fashions, will be available to win via purchase of tickets for a drawing. The fashion show kicks off the drawing. Hats will be displayed and tickets sold until Thursday, April 5. Winners will be drawn at noon Friday, April 6. Tickets are $1 each, or 6 for $5. Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Walk.

The fashion show will also provide an opportunity to sign up for the hospital's Heart Walk team and purchase hearts to show your support for the cause. The Baptist Health La Grange team goal is $4,500. The event goal is $500.
