McDanald, Liter, Shaw are latest personnel changes
Baptist Hospital Northeast announces the following personnel changes.
D. Matt McDanald, MD, obstetrics/gynecology, has been named chief medical officer. His responsibilities include serving as a medical liaison between the hospital and medical staff, assisting with medical staff credentialing, quality and resource utilization issues, assisting in recruiting needed medical specialties to the communities served by the hospital, and representing the hospital and the medical staff in the community. Dr. McDanald is a 1998 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology there in 2002. He is a physician with Tri-County OB/GYN Associates.
Jennifer Liter has been promoted to director of the Medical/Surgical
and Security units from manager of Medical/Surgical. She holds an associate degree in nursing and will soon receive a master’s degree in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. She received a diploma from the Kentucky Technical Institute’s LPN program.
Melinda Shaw has been promoted to administrative assistant in Administration from secretary in the Quality Management and Risk Management departments.
