Oldham County EMS offers CPR Anytime kits
The Oldham County EMS has 400 Family & Friends® CPR Anytime® Personal Learning Program kits available free of charge to Oldham County residents.
Oldham County EMS, managed by Baptist Health La Grange, received 1,000 of the CPR Anytime kits through a grant from the American Heart Association and will donate 600 of them to families of Oldham County school children at the beginning of the 2013-14 school year.
Family & Friends® CPR Anytime® Personal Learning Program allows anyone to learn the core skills of CPR in just 20 minutes using their own personal kit. The kit contains everything needed to learn basic CPR, AED skills and choking relief anywhere, from the comfort of your home to a large group setting. CPR Anytime is for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR skills, choking relief and AED awareness, and does not need a course completion card to meet a job requirement. It is designed to be shared among close family and friends. For every kit, an estimated additional two and a half people are trained.
To get your free CPR Anytime kit, go to the Oldham County EMS headquarters, located at 3639 W. Hwy 146 in Buckner. Kits are available on a first-come, first served basis. One per household, please.
