Shining Stars, Pillar awards announced for September 2011

Baptist Hospital Northeast recently recognized two employees as Shining Stars and one department as a Pillar of Excellence. Shining Stars are recognized for going above and beyond outside the job. Pillars are nominated for exemplifying one of the five pillars of the hospitals Culture of Excellence.

Paul Franklin and Danuta Gawlak

Paul Franklin, Surgical Services, and Danuta Gawlak, Environmental Services, were recognized for their quick action after they saw a suspicious person in the Surgical Services department and reported him.

Environmental Services Department

The Environmental Services department at Baptist Hospital Northeast recently received the Pillar of Excellence award for always keeping the hospital so clean. Accepting the award are, from left, Brenda Kimberlin, Danielle Derrick, Director Tim Ernst, Wanda Satterly and Shelia Ross.
