Smoking cessation class offered

Baptist Hospital Northeast will offer a smoking cessation class starting in January. The six-week class uses the American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking program and is facilitated by a respiratory therapist.

The class is held from 6-7:30 p.m. on these dates: Tuesdays, Jan. 5 and 12; Monday, Jan. 18; Tuesday, Jan. 26; Thursday, Jan. 28; and Tuesdays, Feb. 2 and 9. The class meets in the hospital’s Conference Center. Fee is $35.

Light refreshments will be served.
