Baptist Crestwood
Baptist Hospital Northeast’s new 12,450-square-foot outpatient facility – Baptist Crestwood – is located at 6580 Kenwood Crossing Road in Crestwood. The $2.9 million facility houses:
- Outpatient diagnostic imaging (including diagnostic radiology and CT scans to start, with space to add digital mammography, DEXA bone mineral density scanning and diagnostic ultrasound)
- Outpatient physical therapy
- Baptist Medical Associates Crestwood, the primary care practice of Richard Hefner, DO, FAAFP, and Donna Gatewood, MD, both family medicine, and Physician Assistant Janet Scherzer, PA-C.
- Additional physician office space
Baptist Hospital Northeast owns the Baptist Crestwood facility and will provide diagnostic imaging and physical therapy services.
Baptist Crestwood boasts numerous “green” features, including:
- Geothermal heating and cooling
- Constructed with IFC blocks (Stryofoam® forms filled with concrete for excellent insulating properties
- Metal trusses rather than wood for better insulation
- Wildflower garden to be planted in drainage basin to filter parking lot run-off
