CT scans at Baptist Health La Grange



CT ScanA CT scan (also known as a "CAT scan," for "computed axial tomography") is a diagnostic test that combines the use of X-rays with computer technology. A multi-slice CT scanner creates a series of X-ray beams from many different angles and is used to create cross-sectional images of any part of the patient's body. These images are assembled in a computer into a three-dimensional picture that can display organs, bones and tissues in great detail.

Baptist Health La Grange has offers CT scans at the hospital and at its outpatient facility, Baptist Crestwood in nearby Crestwood, Ky., for convenience of scheduling.
