North, Schroeder added to Baptist Northeast staff

Baptist Hospital Northeast has named two new management personnel.

Elizabeth North is managed care director for Baptist Northeast, in addition to Baptist Hospital East, where she has worked for nearly three years. She previously was a hospital contracting executive at Humana, Inc. She also worked for United Healthcare and was an independent consultant. She holds bachelor’s degrees in English composition and clinical psychology from Depauw University and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Indiana State University.

Laura Schroeder is the senior managed care contractor for Baptist Northeast, in addition to Baptist East, where she has worked for nearly three years. Previously, she was a decision support analyst at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, Ind., for more than two years and a reimbursement specialist for Jewish Hospital for 12 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Louisville.
